First races of Manx Grand Prix 24 scheduled

Update: 16:22: Due to rain, the race is delayed until 17:00.

Update: 16:08: Delay to Junior MGP restart of a further 15 minutes. New start time 16:30.

Update: 15:45: Delay to the Junior MGP restart of 15 minutes. New start time 16:15.

Update: 15:20: Following a red flag on the Mountain Course, there's a delay to the schedule.

The PE Lightweight MGP has been moved to Monday.

Update 12:30pm: Roads around the Mountain Course have now closed.

13:00 - Warm-up Lap (1 lap)

14:10 - MGP Supporters Club Junior Manx Grand Prix: 3 laps

16:00 - Carole Nash Classic Senior Manx Grand Prix: 3 laps 

18:00 - PE Lightweight Manx Grand Prix: 3 laps - Start List

21:00 - Roads Open (no later than)

Update 11:40am: Manx Grand Prix organisers are now looking at a road closure time of 12:30pm.

The sewage maintenance team are on the scene at Union Mills.

Manx Utilities has shared the following information regarding the burst water main in Union Mills:

Update at 10:50am: Today's Manx Grand Prix session has been hit by further delays due to a burst water main along the course at Union Mills.

The Clerk of The Course has pushed the start time back by one hour to allow the sewage maintenance team time to resolve the issue.

Roads around the course are now due to close at midday.

The first bikes were originally due out at 10am.

A revised schedule will be issued in due course.

Update at 10:20am: There's been another 30 minute delay to the start of today's session due to a burst water main at Union Mills.

Roads are now set to close at 11am. 

A revised schedule will be issued shortly.

Update at 8:30am: The Clerk of the Course has issued a one-hour delay to today's schedule to allow time for road conditions to improve following overnight rain. Roads are now due to close at 10:30am.

Roads around the course are due to reopen no later than 9pm tonight.

Meanwhile, due to poor weather forecast for Sunday there will be no racing tomorrow.
