Device installed at Northern Swimming Pool
A new device installed at the Northern Swimming Pool in Ramsey will allow people to monitor their key health indicators.
The high-tech Health Check Station has been brought online through a joint initiative involving Public Health Isle of Man and UK company, SiSU Health.
The station is an internet-enabled medical device that lets you undertake a free, self-service health check in less than five minutes.
"The whole purpose here is to support people in early identification, knowing what's normal for them, what their trends are, if things are going up, things are going down, and when they might need to work with somebody on their physical health and wellbeing, their emotional health and wellbeing, whether that's a healthcare practitioner or a pharmacy." - Dr Matt Tyrer, Director of Public Health
