Douglas Lifeboat involved in three hour operation
A fishing boat had to be rescued and brought back to Douglas today after a fire broke out onboard.
Douglas Lifeboat was launched at 2pm and arrived back into harbour three hours later.
The crew managed to extinguish it but the vessel required further assistance.
Coastguard and the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service are now making sure any 'hot spots' are dampened down.
No-one was injured during the rescue.
