Fitness fundraisers aim to raise money for family of injured woman

Event taking place at Noble's Park this evening

Fitness lovers will come together this evening (Thursday) to raise money for an Island resident who was injured whilst fundraising herself.

Members of Donna Whalley’s Tae Bo Fusion Class will take part in an outdoor exercise session in Noble’s Park at 6pm.

It’s after regular participant Claire Losh was injured in the UK during an adventure race for Cancer Research in July.

The nursery teacher suffered life changing spinal injuries and has been undergoing rehabilitation in a specialist hospital ever since.

It means she’s separated from her three children - Donna told Manx Radio the aim is to raise money to support her family with travel costs:

Anyone can join in tonight’s session – the suggested donation is £5.

No prior experience is needed.
