Final Friday before Christmas can be busy for Island's police
Five people were arrested for alcohol-related offences overnight.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says a total of six people are waking up in the cells this morning, with five there as a result of incidents relating to drink.
It comes after what's commonly known as Black Eye Friday - the final Friday before Christmas.
Police warned in advance that the evening can be one of the busiest of the year for the Island's officers.
