Arrests relating to Douglas van theft and 'drink-related' incident
Police say they have five people in the cells this morning, three relating to a drink-related incident.
The other two are men who've been arrested in connection to the attempted theft of a van in Douglas on Wednesday.
One man was detained by a member of the public at the time, after taking the white mercedes van from outside a home in the Groves Road and New Castletown Road area.
A second man ran from the scene.
Police have once again thanked the public for their assistance.
