Incident happened at the Bungalow in the early hours
Five people escaped a crash on the Mountain Road with minor injuries early this morning.
The single-vehicle incident happened at the Bungalow.
Fire crews were called out just after 4.30am; when they got to the scene they found the vehicle lying on its side across the road.
Two of the occupants had managed to get out, but three were still inside.
All five were transferred to hospital by ambulance for check-ups.
Crews were in attendance for about 30 minutes, but the road remained closed until just after 7am so the vehicle could be recovered.
Whilst it was shut, police took to social media to say two drivers ignored the fact, despite the matrix signs clearly saying it was.
They add that people who ignore road closures may be prosecuted, as it puts emergency services staff in danger when dealing with incidents.
