Proposals to link future price increases to Manx CPI
Proposed changes to the charging structure for electricity, water and sewerage in the Island will offer consumers 'stability', according to the chair of Manx Utilities.
Dr Alex Allinson will put forward a new five-year pricing strategy at the October sitting of Tynwald.
If approved, it would see annual increases for the utilities linked to Manx CPI.
Dr Allinson says the proposals would take away uncertainty over future increases.
