Local resident pleads guilty to charges
A Douglas man has pleaded guilty to importing over £56,000 worth of a Class A drug to the Island.
Fifty year old Liam Patrick Flanagan, of Drury Terrace, Douglas also pleaded guilty to possessing the drug with intent to supply.
The court heard Flanagan had been found with 563.6g of diamorphine with a street value of £56,360 on 7 December.
His advocate Steven Taylor made no application for bail.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes remanded Flanagan in custody until Monday, 19 December, when he will appear in a court of General Gaol Delivery for sentencing.
