Residents of a flat in Ramsey had to be evacuated by the fire service earlier today.
Crews from Ramsey, Laxey and Douglas were called to the property on Bircham Avenue Close at 12.20pm.
One of the four teams deployed set to work fighting the fire on the first floor of the building, with others positioned at the front and rear of the building.
Once extinguished, crews checked for hot spots and remained at the scene for about two hours.
No injuries were reported.
