Chief Minister confirms payments will be made soon
The chief minister says the one-off lump sum given to those who were worst affected by the Laxey flooding was as much as government could justify.
Howard Quayle has also confirmed an independent review into who is responsible for the damage caused is now underway.
Homes on Glen Road in the village were left with water damage when around 100mm of rain fell two weeks ago.
