It's still hoped the flumes at the NSC swimming pool will be open during the summer holidays.
The Minister for Education, Sport and Culture says the specialist contractors who had been due to complete the work have been delayed coming to the Island due to personal issues.
The leisure pool and water slides at the facility have been closed since August 2018.
Dr Alex Allinson is optimistic the work will be completed in the coming weeks:
