Collapsed airline owes landing fees and air passenger duty
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan says the Flybe plane at Ronaldsway is "effectively" impounded as the collapsed airline owes landing fees to the Isle of Man Government.
He told this week's sitting of the House of Keys more than £300,000 is due to the Department of Infrastructure as well as air passenger duty from February.
The Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft has a replacement value of around £25 million and a book value of £4 million.
Mr Cannan says it should help get the money paid but there are bigger issues to deal with:-
