Emails between top civil servants and Dr Rosalind Ranson released
A response to a Freedom of Information request that's resulted in a row between a reporter and the Isle of Man Government has been published.
Paul Moulton had hoped to establish how "medical and clinical advice from Dr Rosalind Ranson and others was handled", by then-Health Minister David Ashford and senior civil servants.
Mr Moulton previously expressed concerns over press freedoms after revealing he'd received a legal letter from government.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan told Manx Radio the reporter in question isn't being prevented from making enquiries, but action needed to be taken to prevent 'serious connotations and undertones' by naming civil servants.
