Professor Ronald Hutton to speak at Manx Museum
'Folklaw, History and Paganism' - the subject a leading authority on the British Isles will present at a public lecture tonight (Fri).
Professor Ronald Hutton is an expert in 16th and 18th century ancient and medieval paganism and magic, and on the global context of witchcraft.
He'll question why scholars between 1870 - 1970 obsessed over the idea of a timeless countryside; home to ancient practices and beliefs.
It's being hosted at the Manx Museum in collaboration with the 'Sophia Morrison: The First Creator' exhibition - and will start at 7:30pm.
