Culture Vannin revives 'rich source' of traditional Manx stories
A collection of Manx folklore stories has been reprinted for the first time in 115 years.
Culture Vannin has published Karl Roeder's 'Ghosts, Bugganes and Fairy Pigs', which it describes as one of the richest sources of traditional tales from the Isle of Man.
As well as folklore, the material also looks at history, language and other Manx matters.
James Franklin from Culture Vannin believes many readers will discover takes from their neighbourhood:
The book is available through Culture Vannin and a local bookstores for £12.
