Event taking place this weekend
The ever-expanding Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival takes place at the Villa Marina this weekend.
A showcase of the best in Manx produce, it will feature numerous local suppliers showcasing their wares to the thousands of people who attend.
This year's celebrity guest is Welsh farmer Gareth Wyn Jones, who will be holding a cooking demonstration on Saturday, among other things.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture's marketing manager, Audrey Fowler, says interest in the event among local producers is increasing:
