The Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival is moving to the Royal Manx Agricultural Show ground at Knockaloe.
It was to have been held at its usual venue at the Nunnery site, but the site is still extremely boggy and unlikely to dry out in time.
The planning committee was concerned that there was no alternative car parking nearby and it would be difficult to set up the Festival without churning up the gardens at the Nunnery. They were also unable to find an alternative site in Douglas.
It was therefore decided it would be best to move the festival on the 22nd and 23rd of September to the drier site at Patrick.
