
An all-Island food bank is going to be set up, with those behind it aiming to have it up and running by the autumn.
Its aim will be to help individuals and families struggling to make ends meet, and having to make difficult decisions between heating and eating, for example.
The service is the brainchild of a number of charitable and Christian organisations in the Isle of Man, with the help of the UK-based Trussell Trust, which runs food banks.
