Supermarket vow to reduce waste
Tackling food waste and improving recycling were two of the main topics on the agenda at the latest British Irish Council meeting.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot represented the Isle of Man at the gathering in Guernsey.
He says the main speech was given by supermarket chain Tesco, outlining its efforts to reduce the amount of stock it ends up throwing out:
