Supermarket vow to reduce waste
Tackling food waste and improving recycling were two of the main topics on the agenda at the latest British Irish Council meeting.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot represented the Isle of Man at the gathering in Guernsey.
He says the main speech was given by supermarket chain Tesco, outlining its efforts to reduce the amount of stock it ends up throwing out:

Substantial damaged caused by fire station blaze
‘No risk to public’ after fire at Castletown Fire Station
Not one affordable house available to buy
Election candidate reprimanded by Information Commissioners
