Health Minister's comments fail to acknowledge work
The Foodbank says it is 'disappointed politically' over an apparent lack of recognition from the Island's health department.
It follows comments from the minister, David Ashford, on the subject of period poverty last month.
In an interview with Manx Radio, Mr Ashford said a roll-out of sanitary provision for all Manx women would 'not be feasible'.
Neal Mellon is the Director of the Foodbank.
He says Mr Ashford, whom to his knowledge has yet to visit the charity's premises, has not acknowledged its work:
