More than 110 children being supported on Island
The Isle of Man’s foodbank says it’s expecting a ‘massive increase’ in the number of people who need to use its service.
It’s also raised concerns about how the rising cost of living is going to impact on the amount of donations the charity receives.
This week gas customers were told their bills would be increasing by more than 43 per cent from 1 September.
The foodbank is currently supporting more than 110 children – chief executive Neal Mellon says people’s donating habits have already changed:
