Too many in one vehicle
Police are urging motorists to use common sense, after six men and almost a dozen footballs were found crammed into a small hatchback.
A Vauxhall Corsa was pulled over after being spotted 'just short of a wheelie' on the Mountain Road yesterday afternoon.
The driver, who was taking his teammates home from a football game, was fined £120 and given three points on his licence.
The Roads Policing Unit says 'it would have been safer and cheaper to pay for a taxi'.
