Tristan Torry was 28
A former pupil at Castle Rushen High School has died following a shooting in the US.
Isle of Man Today reports that 28 year old Tristan Torry suffered fatal injuries at a property in Zebulon, North Carolina.
His Father, 59 year old Andrew Torry was arrested at the scene and has been charged with felony murder.
Tristan's German Shepherd dog, Koda, was shot dead by Police after running at officers as they entered the property.
Tristan attended Castle Rushen between 2011 and 2013 before moving to the USA.
