Tony Brown tells committee says situation is 'out of control'
A former Chief Minister says the level of bureaucracy in the Island is 'out of control'.
Tony Brown was speaking before Tynwald's Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee this week.
He believes it's causing a major problem, not just for ordinary people but also for Government.
Questioned on the effectiveness of ministerial Government, Mr Brown thinks its been a steadily growing problem in the last decade:
Another former Chief Minister told the committee when he was in power, Treasury members were in a position to 'hijack government policy' if it suited them.
