A former Clerk to the Legislative Council and Deputy Clerk of Tynwald has died at the age of 83.
Thomas Arthur Bawden held the roles from 1977 until 2001.
He was also known for his work in the arts, regularly performing on stage as an actor and singer, and was also a dedicated historian.
Mr Bawden's funeral takes place at the Royal Chapel in St John's next Thursday (23 May) at 12.45pm.
