Julie Edge comments after mobile classroom plans approved
The former education minister is calling on the government to do more 'forward planning', after a new mobile classroom was given the green light at Queen Elizabeth II High School earlier this week.
The temporary facility had requested to be put in place ahead of the new academic year due to an anticipated surplus in pupils.
Capacity at the school is 898, and the pupil roll is expected to be greater than 900 come September.
