MHK Kate Beecroft unhappy with both Mr Quayle and Chief Secretary
An MHK and former health minister has called for the resignation of the chief minister.
Speaking in today’s sitting of Tynwald, Kate Beecroft criticised both Howard Quayle and the chief secretary, Will Greenhow.
It was over what she says were failures in the accountability chain amongst senior civil servants in the health department, and how a number of issues were handled by Messrs Quayle and Greenhow when she was heading the department.
She made the comments whilst highlighting concerns she holds about the department, which she feels have been addressed neither in Sir Jonathan Michael’s report, nor the work of the Public Accounts Committee:
