Kate Beecroft called for change during health report debate
A former health minister has called for a change of culture to stop the bullying of frontline healthcare staff within the Department of Health and Social Care.
Kate Beecroft spoke for almost half an hour during this afternoon's session of Tynwald, while members debated Sir Jonathan Michael's report into the Island's health service.
The Douglas South MHK voiced her support for the findings, which includes 26 recommendations for change.
However, she says healthcare workers need support from their managers, particularly at the hospital:
