David Fowler will stand trial after entering six not guilty pleas
A former House of Keys candidate will stand trial after denying possessing indecent images of children.
David Fowler of Howstrake Drive in Onchan pleaded not guilty to six charges when appearing at Douglas Courthouse.
As well as denying possessing 50 images, the 55-year-old also entered a not guilty to a charge of sending an obscene article - a sex doll - by post.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood adjourned proceedings until 24 October, when a pre-trial review will take place.
He remains on bail until his next appearance.
