Poet's new book reflects on experiences working with homeless community
The eighth Manx Bard believes people want a 'more hopeful version of what the world could be'.
Michael Manning has recently published a collection of poems drawing on his experience working with the Island's homeless community.
He says public opinion can often be dominated by anger, hatred and despair.
But, he's in favour of a more optimistic approach:

BMA finds less than a quarter of doctors recommend working at Manx Care
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
Mountain Road closed due to snow and ice
Majority of rates going up for residents across the Island
