Pippa Lovell joining Little Diamonds Nursery
A former MasterChef The Professionals contestant is set to run the kitchen of a children's nursery.
Pippa Lovell is joining the team at Little Diamonds Nursery in an attempt to teach youngsters about sustainable and healthy eating.
She says: "Children are naturally curious.
"When they plant a seed, care for it, and then see it transformed into a meal they've helped to grow, food becomes much more meaningful."
Peter and Karan are the owners of the facility and planted an orchard in 2022 with the plan for the fruit to be enjoyed by the children.
However, they explain their ambitions grew bigger: "The kitchen garden is the next stage of that journey.
"We don't just want to feed children healthy food—we want them to understand where it comes from, how it's grown, and why caring for the environment matters."
Pippa's former Island project 'Versa', was a 100 percent Manx produce restaurant, was based in Port Erin.
The kitchen garden will be separate from the nursery where Pippa is set to make fresh, balanced meals.
