Action not talk vital to offset problems - Gawne
A former government minister says Manx politicians are aware of social and economic issues, but concrete action is required to make change.
Phil Gawne has responded to some outspoken remarks on social media by his erstwhile colleague, and one-time Infrastructure subaltern, Juan Turner.
The MLC raised eyebrows with allegations of a 'power corrupt' government overrun with 'awkward' bureaucracy - adding he 'would not recommend the Island' to anyone.
Mr Gawne lost his seat when the Island went to the polls exactly a year ago today (22 Sept).
He says it's one thing to complain:

Fire reported at Castletown Fire Station
Not one affordable house available to buy
Election candidate reprimanded by Information Commissioners
Minor flooding could hit Ramsey tonight
