Local authority wants to ensure sites can re-open
A local authority is to meet with one of the Island's breweries in a bid to ensure buildings formerly used as pubs don't sit empty.
Ramsey Town Commissioners will hold talks with Heron and Brearley tomorrow to try to ensure shut down pubs aren't sold with a covenant restricting how new owners use the site.
Property has previously been sold by the company preventing the next owner from re-opening it as a pub.
