A former Ramsey MHK and commissioner has passed away at the age of 77.
Charles Cain served one term as a member of the House of Keys between 1981 and 1986.
He also spent 13 years on the board of the town commissioners during two separate periods, either side of his election to the Keys.
Born in Peel and the son of former Deemster James Arthur Cain, Professor Cain had a long career in senior posts in the Island’s finance sector.
