Re-trial set for January
A former soldier accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend will face a re-trial in January next year.
Lee Michael Dillon was found not guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at a trial two weeks ago.
He'd always denied fracturing his former partner's eye socket and stabbing her three times at his Marown home in August 2016.
Earlier this month, jurors were unable to reach a verdict on a second charge of unlawful wounding.
There will now be a re-trial on January 30 and Mr Dillon will next appear in court on December 20.
