Incident said to have taken place in 1990
Police have confirmed an investigation's being carried into a former vicar from Douglas, accused of historic indecent assault against a schoolgirl.
Eighty year old Graham Gregory appeared before Douglas Magistrates Court today (12 Jan), charged with one offence.
The assault is said to have happened in the Isle of Man in 1990.
Mr Gregory, who now lives in York, was allowed bail and will appear in court again on 2 February.
The Constabulary's Public Protection Unit says it is working closely with the diocese in its inquiry.
