Events running throughout this week
A long running Manx festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week.
Since 1978, Yn Chrunniaght, has been held annually to celebrate the Island's relationship with other celtic nations.
Dr Chloe Woolley and Grainne Joughin explain some of the things involved in this year's event, known as Celtic Gathering Isle of Man.
Additionally, evening concerts will be held at Peel's centenary centre from Wednesday to Sunday.
