Residents partied to mark end of roadworks
A main route in Foxdale is set to re-open for the first time since last October.
The A3 Main Road was initially forecast to be shut for seven months.
Workers were installing new storm water pipes following a deep excavation and resurfacing of the road.
Residents in the village celebrated the end of the roadworks by having a street party at the weekend.
The route will offically re-open at 5pm this evening (2 August)
