Promotional offer ends early
Many of the Island's beer drinkers were left disappointed yesterday (Sun 30), after a promotional offer ended a day early.
Heron and Brearley pubs Island-wide issued Carling Loyalty Cards for the month of September to their patrons, which meant once they had purchased five pints at £4 each, the sixth pint was free.
The cards had to be registered online, were monitored electronically, and were valid from 1-30 September, according to the terms and conditions.
By providing personal details, customers were agreeing to let Heron and Brearley contact them from time to time with marketing promotions and offers.
However, many customers with free drinks yet to be redeemed were denied the freebies yesterday, as the cards were declined on the final day of the offer.
Heron & Brearley has since updated its position.
