Will be held this Thursday in Peel
There's a free workshop on the Island this week for anyone who would like to learn more about dementia.
It's being held on Thursday evening at the Castle View Care Home in Peel.
The aim is to raise awareness about what it means to live with dementia and give advice to carers, loved ones and professionals who look after someone with the condition.
Dementia Trainer Chris Elsley says having an understanding about dementia is the first step to compassion:
The workshop is on from 6pm-8pm on Thursday 17 July.
To reserve a place, you can call Castle View on 841400.
