Two friends from the Isle of Man completed the Great North Run at the weekend (13 September) as they raised money for an ovarian cancer charity.
Savannah Ingham and Sophie Alexander completed the half marathon in England's North East and received more than £5,000 in donations.
They fundraised for Ovacome, in honour of their best friend's mum, Sarah Jarvis who died from the disease earlier this year.
Sarah's daughter, Ellen Hurst (previously Jarvis), watched the pair cross the finish line.
