Cancelled flight causes problems
A cancelled flight to Gatwick has caused all sorts of problems for the local branch of Friends of Chernobyl's Children.
They were due to leave the Island last night, but the cancellation has left them struggling to return to Belarus for a few days, given the paucity of flights with available space from the UK to the former Soviet state.
Organiser and co-ordinator of the group locally is Norman Rivers.
He says they're trying to do their best to find an alternative.
