Peel pipeline problems discovered by FoE member
The local branch of an environmental group has weighed into the Peel sewage outflow debate.
The Manx Utilities Authority says there currently aren't enough Department of Infrastructure divers available to carry out an assessment of the pipe and the repair work.
It means raw sewage is currently leaking into Peel bay, although the MUA claims the water quality is still 'good'.
John Griffiths of Isle of Man Friends of the Earth actually discovered the crack, and alerted the authorities.
