Nicholas Elliot's passion for this started when his daughter was studying A Levels

A London resident will be on the Isle of Man today to learn about Tynwald.

Nicholas Elliot has embarked on a mission to visit all the parliaments in the world, with this afternoon's visit marking his 25th one.

"It's been one of my dreams and I thought to make it my 25th, this is where I'm gonna go."

The avid game show competitor says his passion for this started when his daughter was undergoing her A Levels.

"In the world of parliaments, this is the parliament I really want to go and I'm looking forward to it."

While Westminster was his first visit, he says he is excited for Tynwald as it's 'the holy grail of parliaments':
