Petition fetches popular support
Almost a thousand people have signed an online petition calling for the return of a temporary ice rink in St John's.
The seasonal attraction, which usually occupies the Tynwald Mills car park over the Christmas period, was denied planning permission last month.
Bosses have appealed the decision.
It's claimed around 11,000 people used the ice rink last year.
Comments on the petition have blasted the planning office decision as 'disgraceful' and 'mean-spirited'.
