Onchan candidate still has hopes of serving the public
An unsuccessful candidate in last month's general election is now turning his attention to local politics.
Anthony Allen polled lowest in Onchan with 510 votes as Rob Callister and Lib Van's Julie Edge were elected to the Keys.
The setback hasn't stopped Mr Allen's hunger to serve the public, though - as he now plans to contest the Onchan Commissioners election on November 10.
He says he wants to demonstrate his 'ongoing commitment to the people of Onchan, politics and public service.
