Island's finance regulator has been taking part inf World Investor Week
The Island's finance regulator says investors need to be alert to increasingly sophisticated scams and question information they encounter online.
The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has been supporting World Investor Week this week.
This year's campaign focussed on investor resilience and scam awareness, with support from more than 100 jurisdictions, including the Isle of Man.
The FSA says the week reflects the need for investors to remain resilient in changing market conditions, and be aware of the help available to make informed choices about their finances.
The authority adds that protecting consumers is one of its objectives, and highlights calls for investors to be aware of the risks posed by AI, deepfakes and cloned voice fraud.
