MHK also welcomes funding for other projects in the south
Treasury has committed to presenting a fully costed capital scheme for Castle Rushen High School to Tynwald later this year.
More than £2 million has been spent on plans for a replacement building so far; the total cost is expected to be in the region of £62 million.
A number of other projects in the south have also gained funding including the Ballasalla bypass junction and mobile classrooms at Ballasalla School.
