Review to consider how health services are funded and delivered
The possibility of means-testing or charging for certain healthcare services in future will be considered as part of a government-led inquiry into funding.
Treasury has announced the scope of a year-long review, which will be presented in January 2019.
The study, which will ask a range of fundamental questions regarding finances at the Department of Health and Social Care.
Also forming part of the review will be off-Island patient treatment, as well as productivity, recruitment and innovation at Noble's Hospital.
